From the ashes...

OK, a little dramatic but maybe it got your attention. Reiki...NOW! came out of a seminar I attended in 2010 in Sedona. During the week long seminar, each evening, 3 people from the group received a Reiki session. Sometime mid-week, two Reiki Masters asked me how long I had been practicing...and why didn't I tell them? Deer in the headlights...no idea what they were asking. They said, "Observing you in the Reiki sessions we thought you were a Reiki Master." Still no idea what they were talking about. Then, the one Master said, "You don't know what we're talking about, do you?" I confessed I had no idea. They encouraged me to find a Reiki teacher when I got home, and look into getting attuned. "You obviously have a gift. Learn about what it is you have. The world needs you." I found Angelique Fowler the week I got home. She verified that to her perception, I was already a Level II Reiki practioner--she just hadn't ever met someone like me that had no idea they had anything going on, much less a healing gift. I received my Level I, II, III, and Master/Trainer attunements that year; I've been gratefully practicing, growing, and meeting people who value alternative methods to health and well being ever since.
